Wurl Index Hierarchy

The Wurl Index follows a simple hierarchy. Every video Episode is part of a Series. Some Series are curated into Bundles. Some Bundles are curated into Packages.

    Packages – These are collections of Bundles. Wurl curates a default Package for each customer. Packages are usually focused on a single language and contain 10-12 genre-based Bundles.

    Bundles – These are collections of related Series. Bundles are genre/language based such as “German News” or “Spanish Music”. Bundles are curated by Wurl. Developers use Bundles to create browse-able guides.

    Series – Each Series contains a chronologically organized set of Episodes – each added by the publisher. An example of a Series might be a publisher’s “playlist” or “channel”.

    Episodes – Episodes are individual videos in the Wurl Index. As Publishers release new Episodes, Wurl servers add these to the Wurl Index.
